Our beauty bag is always full with bunch of lipsticks, some we wear most of the times and some just lie there untouched. Know your Undertone: We all have undertones of either pink or yellow. Pink is cooler and yellow is warmer, understanding your undertones is very beneficial when you are trying to know which lip shades look good on you. The veins on your wrist helps you identify your skins undertone, if they are grays and whites your undertones are pink, if your veins are blue you have inclination towards blues, if you have green veins they indicate yellow or warmer undertone, if they are both green and blue you have a neutral skin tone which says you are free to wear any lip color as they are a perfect blend of yellow and pink tones. If you still need clarification on your skin tone just hold a piece of silver and gold jewelery against your face and analyze which looks good on your skin- warmer or yellow tones are good to go with gold and pink or cool tones go well with silver.

Understand which lip shades go well with your undertone: Concentrate on colors identical to your undertones while choosing a lipcolor, for ex- people with pink undertones can go with shades having purple or blue tones/hues in them and yellow undertone people can go with warmer shades. Be it pink or yellow undertone avoid shades that have gray, ashy or dull lip colors as they make you look sick and unhealthy.
